Delta brings together individuals who choose to teach and learn from each other. Collectively, these students create a unique and highly-personalized culture at Delta High School.

Delta High School is a small public high school for students living in Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland School Districts. Delta is a STEM high school, meaning the way students learn, as well as what they learn, reflects the world we live in – a world driven by science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), combined with other subjects.
English and social studies provide a strong foundation for learning in the STEM fields. This design brings a unique high school experience to our community. Delta students will direct their learning and practice inquiry, problem, and project-based learning.

Delta High School has a rigorous and relevant STEM-focused curriculum that prepares each student for career, college, and life success in a changing world. State, national, and college-ready standards serve as the launch pad for this curriculum.
The STEM high school design provides a tailored learning environment for students of all academic levels and interests.
Key characteristics of a STEM school include:

  • College-ready and work-ready culture
  • Student as a worker, teacher as a facilitator, industry/community as mentors
  • Another pathway to success for students

Local business leaders, teachers, scientists, and college professors created Delta High School. This school answers the call to raise a new generation of technical talent, as well as, more scientifically literate citizens. Graduates of Delta High School will possess and use the knowledge, skills, and habits of mind necessary to pursue post-secondary education, technical training, and chosen career paths.
This school builds upon and complements the strong educational foundation of the Tri-Cities. Delta High School aspires to serve as a pilot environment for the Tri-Cities-ultimately creating a bigger footprint on STEM education in the region and in the state of Washington.

Coyote Ridge Corrections Center
Coyote Ridge Corrections Center is a minimum-security prison located in Connell, Washington. Inmates held here typically have four years or less on their sentences. The prison grounds resemble those of an average community college, complete with landscaping. Inmates sleep in dormitories and grow some of their own food in a small garden on the grounds. Some inmates are allowed to go off-site to work in highly-supervised jobs (including the traditional litter-cleanup).

Energy Northwest --- Serving the Northwest public power community since 1957.

Energy Northwest is a major public energy resource for the Northwest region. Headquartered in Richland, Washington, they provide electricity, at cost, to public utilities and municipalities. The Pacific Northwest has widely supported public power and its affiliates for nearly seven decades.
